Miami-Dade police are searching for two suspects, one of them armed, in a South Miami-Dade home burglary and shooting.
According to police, the crime occurred Monday in the 14300 block of Southwest 258th Terrance. Police say just before 9:30 a.m., two men broke into the house by breaking a rear window. The home’s resident returned home to find two folks in the house when he’d expected none. They skedaddled. One turned and fired at the pursuing resident.
The black male suspects were described as 5-8 to 5-10 in height, wearing black hoodies over thin builds and were estimated to be in their 20s. Despite police setting a perimeter for a search, both remain at large.
