Three people were shot, two fatally, at an apartment complex clubhouse in Homestead late Thursday, police said.

The names of the victims have not been released, but police said the male shooter committed suicide. A woman was killed and another male was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, police said.

The man is listed in critical but stable condition, police said.

“It looks like there was a dispute between the two deceased,” said Alvaro Zabaleta, a spokesman with the the Miami-Dade Police Department.

The shooting occurred shortly before 8:09 p.m. when police were called to the Isles at Oasis condominium complex at Mediterranean Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard in Homestead. The shooting took place in the lobby of the clubhouse.

Zabaleta said it’s unclear whether the shooter and the women were married.

“Both have the same last name so I’m thinking it’s a husband and wife,” he said. “Everything appears domestic related. Is it a love triangle? We don’t know.”

Zabaleta said the shooter was aged 41, the woman, 28, and the man who was injured is in his 30s.

The shooting shocked neighbors at the complex.

“It’s scary,” said Alexis Lanier, 32, who was standing a block away from the entrance to the complex with her son and other relatives. “A week ago, we had a baby in the freezer across the street and now we have dead bodies out there.”

She said that both the woman and man shot were receptionists who worked in the lobby of the clubhouse. She said she doesn’t know the shooter.
