Hialeah police pinned three car burglaries from just after midnight Sunday on pals William Tinoco and Charlie Perez and think the pair might be responsible for more.

Tinoco, 20, remained at Metro West Detention Center on Tuesday charged with four counts of car burglary. Perez, 15, was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

According to his arrest affidavit, Perez’s alibi was that he and Tinoco spent the night walking around smoking marijuana.

Surveillance camera video at 3600 W. Palm Court didn’t catch those puffs but it did catch two young men who resemble Tinoco and Perez walking around, then suddenly leaving with goods in their hands in Sunday’s first hour. Police eventually arrested the duo for a car burglary at 241 W. 33rd St., then tapped them for burglaries at 60 W. 36th St. and 3605 W. Palm Court.
