Police arrested a 48-year-old man for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy at a public park in Hialeah.

Detectives fear the accused sexual predator may have been stalking his prey at Amelia Earhart Park, 401 E. 65th St., in Hialeah.

A 14-year-old boy told his father that an older man tried to force himself on him while he was at the park about 6 p.m. Monday. The boy said the man kissed him, grabbed his hand and forced him to fondle him, but he was able to get away.
