Walgreens stores seem a favorite target for local criminals lately. But the Walgreens at Northwest 95th Street and Seventh Avenue got hit for something more volatile than cash, prescription drugs or razor blades — 13 full propane tanks.
Miami-Dade police say the driver of a white, older model Ford F-250 Supercab pickup truck rolled up to the Walgreens at 1 am. June 13, broke into the locked cage and made off with the tanks.
Thefts like this one often occur as July 4 (fireworks, cookouts) approaches.
