Doral will “Light Up the Night” Monday, Dec. 22, at City Hall for Hanukkah in honor of the police department.
At 6:30 p.m., city staff will light the menorah and recognize all first responders “for keeping us safe during the holiday season,” said spokeswoman Maggie Santos.
“These dedicated men and women work daily to ensure that Doral’s public safety is second to none, securing a community where everyone can live peacefully,” Santos said.
Doral joins thousands of communities worldwide in marking 40 years since the first public menorah was lit at the Liberty Bell in 1974.
