The town of Cutler Bay will host several upcoming public forums, including discussions about traffic calming measures and a community town hall meeting.
Cutler Bay has contracted with professional engineering firm Marlin Engineering to host several public-involvement meetings to let residents voice concerns regarding traffic.
The first meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at town hall to discuss the town’s traffic calming master plan. That meeting will take place in Suite 115 at 10720 Caribbean Blvd. The town will also host other 7 p.m. meetings on Sept. 28 at Cutler Ridge Park; Oct. 26 at Whispering Pines Elementary; and Nov. 10 at Cutler Bay Senior High.
For information, contact the town’s public works department at 305-234-4262, or if you cannot attend the meetings, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, residents are invited to attend the town’s second 2016 Open Mic Night, on Sept. 1, at Cutler Ridge Park.
The Thursday meeting, at 10100 SW 200th St., will be from 7 to 9 p.m. It will be an official public town-hall-style meeting, but with a less formal approach. Residents can voice concerns and pose questions to the council in a more comfortable setting.
