Cutler Bay town staff fulfilled its promise to residents when it reopened Caribbean Boulevard from Anchor Road to the C-100 Canal Bridge on April 20.

The road had been closed for the Caribbean Boulevard Roadway Improvement Project, but opened nearly one month ahead of schedule.

The project has revitalized the area through new decorative street lighting, enhanced traffic signals, a stormwater drainage system, decorative treatments at intersections, new crosswalks, reconstruction of existing roadway, sidewalk improvements, new dedicated bike lanes, native Florida landscaping, bus shelters, curb gutters, and residential driveway approaches. The project will be completed under budget and ahead of schedule.

For more information on the project, contact public information officer Janet Delgado at 305-619-5313 or email caribbeanproject@cutlerbay-fl.gov.
