Two pop-warner football teams and a cheerleading squad from the Palmetto Raiders Youth Development Club will travel to Orlando to compete Saturday for state championships.

The football team (9-year-olds) will represent Greater Miami at the Pop Warner Super Bowl at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The team of 14-year-olds will compete for the southeast region championship. The cheerleading squad (of 10-year-olds) competed in the southeast region cheer/dance competition on Thanksgiving weekend.

The Raiders are working hard to raise the $15,000 needed to take the teams to the Pop Warner National Championship. If you would like to make a donation, make checks payable to Palmetto Raiders and mail to P.O. Box 57-0771, Miami, FL 33257-0771, or contact Clarence Moss at cmoss@bellsouth.net.
