Nearly 125 golfers sliced into the 18-hole Scramble Golf tournament at the Palmetto Golf Course on Aug. 27.

The eighth annual Cutler Bay Open was a success, raising more than $5,000 to support the town’s community fund, according to Cutler Bay Town Manager Rafael Casals.

Steve Wilson, Ariel Manduely, Ray Chicalo, and Tim Ferrand claimed trophies at the event, which included contests for longest drive, closest to the pin, and a hole-in-one competition.
