Coral Gables commissioners and city staff, along with Baptist Health South Florida employees, will be cleaning up William A. Cooper Park on Saturday as part of their annual Day of Service.
The community is invited to help at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at 4920 Washington Dr. in Coral Gables.
Participants will help with landscaping, mulching, gardening, and light maintenance around the property.
“The city is grateful for the support of Baptist Health South Florida and their continued commitment to this community,” Coral Gables Commissioner Vince Lago said. “The commission and employees are looking forward to another fun and productive event this Saturday.”

William A. Cooper Park is a historic park. The event will end around 12:30 p.m.
Last year’s clean up was at Saint Mar’s Missionary Baptist Church at 136 Frow Ave.
“Baptist Health donates the materials, labor, time and employees to do these much needed improvements in our community,” said Danette Perez, the city’s commission aide.
