Where could you find a company that makes liquor so strong, it even gets recalled in Canada during the two-month Canadian spring party known as the NHL playoffs?
The 305, of course. Specifically, Coral Gables, home of Bacardi.
The Liquor Control Board of Ontario recalled Bacardi-owned Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin from the Canadian market this week after a batch got bottled before being properly diluted. Instead of being 40 percent alcohol content by volume, this Bombay batch packs 77 percent alcohol content by volume.
No such mixup on the mix has been found with the Bombay distributed on the U.S. side of the border.
