Today is the perfect day to pop over to Le Cafe Pop (3425 Main Highway) for some hot chocolate and croissants. We had that for breakfast this morning, as we sat out at the sidewalk cafe in the chilly weather, but we may go back later today for a midday pick me up.
We also had French toast, made with real French bread. It almost looks like plantains, but that's just the shape of the French bread. We asked Gil Poirot, the owner, to bring us what he thought we would like and that's what we got. The croissants just fall apart, they are so flaky. Read more at Coconut Grove Grapevine.
