Miami police were called to a Brickell Publix, at 911 SW First Ave., by the general manager around 9 a.m. Tuesday. He said a man left the store without paying for $160 worth of Corona. When the manager chased him, the thief dropped the beer and his phone.
Twenty minutes later, an officer was filling out the report when he got another call. A man walked out of a Winn Dixie, at 1525 Coral Way, with $300 worth of beer.
