Police are working to identify a man after a passerby found his body on a Surfside beach.
A passerby called Surfside police at about 6:20 a.m. Monday after he found the man dead on the sand at 90th Street and the beach in Surfside, spokeswoman Sgt. Marian Cruz said. Police are still working to identify the man, believed to be in his 40s, and cause of death.
Miami-Dade homicide detectives and personnel from the medical examiner’s office are working with Surfside police.
