Three people hospitalized, including pedestrian, after two-car crash, deputies say

A collision between two cars snowballed into a pedestrian in west Miami-Dade County on Thursday morning, sending three people to hospitals, authorities say.

Around 11 a.m., one car was heading east and another north in the area of Northwest 23rd Avenue and 54th Street when they collided, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said.

One of the cars was redirected and hit a pedestrian, deputies said.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took a male driver and the female pedestrian to Jackson Memorial Hospital. A female driver was taken to Hialeah Hospital. All three were in stable condition.
