Teenager in 'serious' condition, no suspect found after shooting in Miami, police say

A teenage gunshot victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center on Saturday in "extremely serious condition" after a daytime shooting in a Miami neighborhood.

Miami Police responded to the 500 block of Northwest 64th St. at about 12:45 p.m. after learning that a young man had been shot.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear and there is no known description of the shooter or shooters responsible, police said.
