On Saturday, FHP identified the cyclist as Angel Lopez of Miami. He died on the street.
That part of the Killian roadway was shut down for four hours Friday night as officers conducted an investigation.
In December 2013, Sierra helped deliver a baby girl when a visitor from Venezuela went into labor during rush hour while stuck in traffic in the back seat of a Cadillac on the Dolphin Expressway.
