Three people were shot in Overtown early Saturday morning, one of whom was killed, Miami police said.
Officers responded to shots fired at 1201 NW First Pl., near Arena Supermarket, around 12:20 a.m., said police spokesman Rene Pimentel. A 55-year-old man, Kevin Prince, Sr., died at the scene. The two wounded, 35-year-old Alexander Speer and 28-year-old Cassandra Chattier, were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Pimentel said.
Pimentel said police had no additional information to release on the motive for the shooting or the suspect or suspects.
