Bank surveillance cameras captured what the FBI says was an armed robbery of a Miami International Airport-area BankUnited branch around 5 p.m. Friday.
While customers were in the bank, the FBI says, a man in a blue hoodie demanded money from a teller and supported his demand by flashing a weapon. He left the branch, 1099 NW 42nd Ave., less than a block from Marriott’s airport hotel complex, with cash and without inflicting any injuries.
Anyone with information on this robbery can contact the FBI at 754-703-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
