LGBT pride on parade Sunday at annual South Beach gay festival

Tens of thousands of LGBT revelers and allies jammed Ocean Drive on South Beach Sunday to celebrate the eighth annual Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade and Festival.

Superstar radio host Elvis Duran led the parade as grand marshal, accompanied by hit Australian rapper Iggy Azalea and members of his morning show cast.

Among the local celebrities in the 2016 parade and festival: Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez; U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and husband Dexter Lehtinen, South Florida’s former acting U.S. attorney; state Rep. David Richardson; state Sen. Gwen Margolis; Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine; Florida International University President Mark Rosenberg; radio & TV host Enrique Santos; drag stars Adora and Henrietta; and 2012 U.S. Olympics Bronze Medalist Danell Leyva.

NBC 6 news/sports anchor Adam Kuperstein and drag star Tiffany Fantasia emceed the two-hour parade.
