Connor Franta, the 22-year-old Internet sensation with more than 3.6 million YouTube channel subscribers, on Monday did “the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
He came out online in an unscripted, teary YouTube video that in less than one day has had more than two million views.
“I’m gay,” Franta said at the beginning of the 6 minute, 27 second video, titled Coming Out. “This may come as a shock to a lot of you and it may be confusing,” Franta says, before recounting his coming out process.
