Fort Lauderdale-based National Voices For Equality, Education and Enlightenment (NVEEE) will host an “Upstanders Gala” on Friday in Miami to benefit the organization’s anti-bullying program.
NVEEE’s ongoing mission is to empower bystanders to become up standers by engaging in critical dialogue on bullying and suicidal prevention. This year’s gala will spotlight local heroes and celebrities including: Ashley Marie Lapadula with WLTV-Univision 23; Cecilia Gutierrez-Abety and Miami Children’s Initiative; Roxy Sora and the YES Institute; Robin Schwartz and The Aqua Foundation for Women; SunServe Youth Services; Wells Fargo; and Rachael Russell, founder of Style Saves.
Tickets for the “Upstanders Gala” are still available for purchase for $50 dollars for general admission and VIP tickets for $100 via NVEEE.org.
