Dating app leads to Allapattah home invasion

Using an online dating site, a man invited another man over to his house in Allapattah for a first date.

Instead, he was robbed, according to Miami police.

After Roger Euceda, 19, was invited into the home at 3200 NW 21st Ave., he pulled out a gun and in Spanish told the victim, “Give me everything valuable and lay face down on the bed,” according to the police report.

He then let in Gabriel Mieses, 18, police said. The pair packed two brown bags with the victim’s property, left and headed toward a parked car nearby.

A neighbor alerted police to the robbery. When the men saw the police they took off running, but were later captured. A third person is believed to have been involved.

Euceda and Mieses each were charged with home invasion robbery, use of firearm during a robbery and resisting arrest.
