Rainbow Survivor Network offers support and wisdom through cancer treatment

Rainbow Survivors Network

News release from Nan Van Den Bergh, a retired clinical professor for the School of Social Work at Florida International University:

The Rainbow Survivor Network, a program of ARROW Inc., is proud to announce its cancer survivor “buddy bag.” Any LBT person who is newly diagnosed with any cancer can be matched with a Rainbow Buddy cancer survivor, who can offer support, survivorship wisdom and “survivor gifts” to assist the journey through treatment.

There is no fee for this program. Currently, the Rainbow Survivor’s Network includes women surviving a variety of cancers, with a minimum of one year since the end of their treatment. They live in areas stretching from Homestead to West Palm Beach.

For contact information to request being matched with a Rainbow Buddy, or to be trained to serve as a Buddy, call 954-981-1090 or email information@arrowlbt.org.
