Two people rescued after jet ski collision near Key West

The Coast Guard rescued two people from the water Sunday after a jet ski collision near Fort Zachary Taylor in Key West.

The Coast Guard received a phone call from a Good Samaritan reporting the collision, which involved two jet skis, and two people in the water, authorities said. One person had a possible rib cage injury.

A Coast Guard Station Key West crew found the two people and transferred them to awaiting emergency medical services at the station in stable condition.
