A Silver Airways flight from Key West Airport to Tampa Sunday made an emergency landing just after takeoff at the Naval Air Station Key West because of engine problems.

Flight 82, carrying 28 passengers and three crew members, departed at about 4 p.m. and landed “immediately” after takeoff, according to a spokeswoman with Monroe County.

No one on board the turbo prop Saab 340 aircraft was injured, said Donald DeGraw, director of Key West International Airport in a news release.

The passengers were taken back to the Key West airport and scheduled on different flights.

The Federal Aviation Administration is now investigating the incident.
