The City of Coral Springs advises residents noticing a chlorine taste or discoloration in the tap water starting late next week not to be alarmed. It’s all part of the pipe flushing.
Coral Springs Utilities Division sent out a reminder Friday that the water pipes will be undergoing a water main flushing from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day from July 15-29.
The aforementioned conditions “are not harmful to your health,” according to the city release. Still, residents are advised to check the water for “clarity” before drinking, cooking or washing clothes. Those with aquatic animals or tropical fish are asked to contact pet stores for proper pet care.
