A tractor-trailer and two cars collided in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 on Wednesday evening, injuring one person and shutting down the expressway for more than an hour, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 7:15 p.m. just south of Miramar Parkway.
One person was airlifted to Memorial Regional with non-life threatening injuries. No one else was injured, FHP Spokesman Mark Wysocky said.
All lanes were shut down during the investigation, but Wysocky said the northbound interstate will gradually reopen.
