A worker was injured on a cargo ship in Port Everglades Friday afternoons, officials report.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles tweeted images of the worker being lifted off the shift.

Miami Herald news partner CBS4 reported that rescue workers strapped the hurt man to a backboard and lifted him out of the ship, docked at 2800 Eisenhower Boulevard, with a crane.

His condition and the cause of the accident have not been released.
