Fort Lauderdale police say when they searched Sean Grealy’s laptop and cell phone Tuesday, they contained 20 images of child pornography. Some of the images, police say, showed children as young as 3 engaging in sexual acts with grown men.
That’s why the 27-year-old Wilton Manors resident sits in Broward Main Jail on $121,000 bond from 13 charges: 10 counts of possession of child pornography; one count of distribution of child pornography; one count of collecting child pornography on a computer; and one count of promoting the sexual performance of a child.
Police say a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone was transmitting illicit images of children from spots around town led to search warrants for Grealy’s laptop and cell phone. Along with South Florida’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Fort Lauderdale police say they found Grealy at a house in the 300 block of NE 21st Court in Wilton Manors. That’s when, they claim, the search warrant execution turned up the child pornography.
