A high school in Pompano Beach is off lockdown after initial reports of a suspicious person ended up being a "misunderstanding," according to the Broward County's Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to Blanche Ely High School, 1201 NW Sixth Ave., searching for the person.
BSO told the Miami Herald that deputies located the individual and that nobody was arrested.
The school was placed off lockdown and students were released.
