The man fatally wounded Sunday night in front of his Broward County home has been identified and a suspect in his death has been arrested.
Broward Sheriff’s Office said the victim, Alphonso Grier, 29, and the shooter, Daniel Medina, 23, had an ongoing dispute that ultimately resulted in the shooting.
Medina has been charged with first-degree murder.
The incident began at about 8:15 p.m., BSO said, when Medina drove along Southwest 50th Avenue in Broadview Park and spotted Grier, who was outside his home.

Medina apparently turned his truck around and tried to hit Grier. An armed Medina, then jumped out of his car and opened fire on Grier, striking him in a crowd of 10 to 15 people, said Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles.
Grier collapsed on his lawn. He was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale where he was pronounced dead.
Medina then fled, but was eventually caught in Plantation during a traffic stop. He took off again but was caught by a BSO K-9 unit that found him hiding by a lake off Wimbeldon Lake Drive, BSO said.
What sparked the deadly feud between Grier and Medina is unclear.
