A 22-year-old man has been charged with home-invasion robbery after stealing money he paid a dancer in return for sex, West Palm Beach Police said.
Fabian Consbruck, of Boca Raton, was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Wednesday after posting $20,000 bond.
On Dec. 2 at about 5 a.m., West Palm Beach police responded to a call of a home-invasion robbery on San Marino Boulevard.
The victim, a dancer at The Spearmint Rhino Gentleman's Club, said two men attacked her outside of her apartment, forced her inside and stole $800, the police report says.
She told detectives that she met one of the men, Consbruck, while working at the club. She told Consbruck she would have sex with him and his friend at her apartment in exchange for $600, according to the report.
The dancer put the money on her dining room table, the report says. After the encounter, the dancer told the men they had to leave. She put the money in her wallet, which also had more money in it and put her wallet in her gym bag, according to the report.
The unidentified man hit the dancer in the head and said, "Just make it easy. Tell us where the money is." While he kept hitting the dancer, Consbruck took the money out of the wallet and the two left, the report says.
The dancer ran outside to get her money back, but the two drove away. She jumped on the hood of the car, fell to the side, and then was dragged by the car. Once she fell off the car, she told police the car ran over her left ankle and left foot.
She was taken to Columbia Hospital and was treated for her injuries, the report says.
