The Hollywood Police Department is asking the publics' help in finding a man and a woman who car jacket a person and stabbed them on Oct. 19, 2017.

First, the couple asked a Texas tourist for a ride outside a Hollywood motel.

When the man said no, the woman took his keys and entered the car, police said.

The man tried to stop her from taking his car, but the woman's partner began “attacking the victim with a knife,” police said.

The armed robbery and carjacking happened at about 12:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Gateway Motel, 2900 Polk St. in Hollywood.

“These people were very brazen,” said Miranda Grossman, a Hollywood police spokeswoman. “They did this in broad daylight, in front of people.”

On Thursday, police released surveillance video of the couple walking into the motel.

Video also showed the pair fighting with the car’s owner, and then taking off, but not before hitting a parked car.

The man, whose 2000 Honda Civic, with Texas tag CSW-0045 is still missing, was treated at Memorial Regional Hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hollywood Police Department’s Detective Bureau at 954-967-4411 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
