Burglars broke into cars in Hollywood earlier this month and then tried to use stolen credit cards at a nearby Target, police said.

Cameras in the store captured images of the pair. Detectives are hoping the pictures will help them identify the burglars.

According to police, the pair broke into several cars June 9 in the area of Virginia Street and Surf Road in northern Hollywood.

The pair, police said, then tried to use stolen credit cards at Target at 3251 Hollywood Blvd.

They were seen leaving in a Mazda 2, with the Florida tag HDNL54.

The man is believed to be 25 to 30, and was last seen wearing a black and white Star Wars sweater and black shorts.

The woman is also believed to be 25 to 30 years old and was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hollywood Police Department at 954- 967-4411 or 954-967-HELP, or the Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
