A career criminal on probation for domestic violence and grand theft was found fatally shot on an unincorporated Broward County street Thursday
Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue found Isac Powell, 39, dead around 1:38 a.m. Thursday at 2561 Northwest Ninth Street. Another shooting victim, whose name BSO is withholding for his safety, remains alive in a Broward hospital.

Since then, Powell’s received probation for cocaine possession (twice); a domestic violence episode in which the 5-8, 265-pound Powell punched the mother of his 3-year-old son to the face and head over 10 times, then strangled her (she hadn’t answered her cell phone); and grand theft of a bicycle.
