Detectives investigating double homicide at North Lauderdale home

A mother and her daughter were killed in an early morning shooting Saturday in North Lauderdale, deputies said.

Broward Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the double homicide after authorities received a call around 5:20 a.m. reporting shots fired at a home in the 6800 block of Doral, a residential street near the intersection of West McNab Road and Rock Island Road.

Jada Allen, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene. North Lauderdale Fire Rescue transported her mother, 48-year-old Temoco Williams, to Broward Health North, where she was pronounced dead.
