‘Traumatic’ chainsaw accident sends Port Everglades worker to the hospital

A worker at Port Everglades had an accident with a chainsaw Friday afternoon, rescue officials said.

Mike Jachles, the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman, called the injury “traumatic” in a tweet. He attributed the injury to a K12 saw, which is commonly used in fire rescue situations.

Jachles said the worker was sent to Broward Health.
