Plantation police have arrested a man accused of setting a woman on fire on Monday morning.
Officers took 47-year-old Noel Garcia De Armas into custody around noon Monday after searching for him during the morning.
According to investigators, De Armas and the woman were involved in a domestic dispute at a parking lot of a shopping center at Northwest 70th Avenue and Broward Boulevard.
At some point, police said, he poured gasoline on the woman and set her on fire before driving off in a white Ford F-350 dually Super Crew cab pickup truck.
