A four-year-old Jupiter boy who went missing from his home with his nanny was found safe Friday, after police issued an Amber Alert overnight, authorities said.
Dominic Caprio disappeared from his home on the 100 block of Regions Way around 12:30 p.m. Thursday along with nanny Blanca Castro, 57. His mother Danielle reported him missing around 1:20 pm. that afternoon when she returned home and found the two were missing.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement officers later helped arrest Castro in Miami-Dade County, who authorities believed was trying to travel to an address in Coconut Grove. But Dominic, who is 36 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes, was nowhere to be seen when Castro was taken into custody.
FDLE officers then issued an alert saying the boy might be in the company of grandparents Elizabeth Caprio, 60, and Luis Caprio, 64, and traveling in a 2013 blue BMW with the tag number CBDB47.
