Hermine may have left Florida, but the summer-like rains have returned.

A swath of South Florida is seeing thunder, lightning and rain Tuesday afternoon, fulfilling the forecast prediction of a 50 percent chance of precipitation. The stormy conditions are expected to stick around through the evening in some areas.

“Storms will continue to move slowly across South Florida,” according to a National Weather Service bulletin.
