If you think the world is crazed now, just wait. More disruption is on the way, say experts.
Good news: You can get ahead of the curve. Trend-watcher and pollster Mark Penn will discuss the quiet changes shaping the future on Thursday, May 10, at an event celebrating the 20th year of the Miami Herald Business Plan Challenge.
In his new book, "Microtrends Squared: The New Small Forces Driving Today's Big Disruptions," Penn presents 50 microtrends that will drive change in business and society over the next decade. He'll talk about those forces and answer questions at the Miami Herald event. The evening is free, thanks to our sponsors FIU Pino School of Entrepreneurship, Kaufman Rossin and the Knight Foundation.
We'll also be hearing from the 2018 winners of the Miami Herald Business Plan Challenge and celebrating the pioneers and champions who are creating Miami's startup movement.
