Grethell Anasagasti, CPA, has been promoted to principal in the tax and accounting department of the public accounting firm MBAF and is based in Miami. She previously was a director at the firm. Anasagasti has a bachelor’s of accounting and master’s in taxation from Florida International University.
Rich Ferrante has been named chief financial officer at Knight Capital Funding, based in Miami. Previously, he was chief financial officer for CAN Caital and its subsidiary, AdvanceMe Inc. He has a bachelor’s from Iona College and an MBA from Fordham.
Rahul Kothari has joined Ironview Partners, which is based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, as an owner and senior partner in Miami. He previously was at the Carlyle Group, where he was most recently the vice president of mergers & acquisitions for one of the company’s largest portfolio companies, Sequa Corp. He has bachelor’s degrees from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Felipe Larcada has joined Marquis Bank as vice president, professional & executive banking. Previously, he was a banking center manager at City National Bank. Larcada has a bachelor’s in accounting from Babson College.
Carlos Correcha-Price has been named general manager of the Miami office of Edelman. Previously he was senior vice president of international public affairs in Washington, D.C. Correcha-Price has an associate’s degree from Miami Dade College and a bachelor’s from the University of Central Florida.
Ricardo Ciliberto has been named vice president of corporate development at Lloyd Jones Capital, which is headquartered in Miami. He previously was chief operating officer at THE ONE Real Estate Partners. Ciliberto has a law degree from the Universidad Santa Maria, Venezuela; a master’s degree in strategic corporate management from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid; and an LL.M in real property development from the University of Miami.
Clare Laverty has been named assistant vice president of marketing and public relations for Swire Properties and Brickell City Centre. She will also continue her role as director of marketing for Swire Hotels, a division of Swire Properties. Laverty received a bachelor of science from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Denise Patnode has been named chief financial officer of Two Roads Development, an entity formed by affiliates of Eastview Development, the developers of Miami’s Biscayne Beach condominium. She was previously at MB Development, LLC, where she was controller.
Sheila Reinken has been named chief financial officer at Elite Stor Capital Partners, an equity investor focused on the self-storage industry that is an affiliate of Calidus Holdings LLC and based in West Palm Beach. Previously she was SVP and chief accounting officer at ION Media Networks. Reinken has a bachelor’s in finance from Florida State University and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
Katherine San Pedro has been named regional director for external affairs at AT&T for Miami-Dade County. She previously was a legislative aide at the Florida House of Representatives for Rep. Bryan Avila. San Pedro has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Miami.

Previously: She was director of development at Baptist Health Foundation, overseeing fundrasing efforts for Baptist Health Breast Center, South Miami Hospital and Doctors Hospital.
Also: She has previously served as the director of development for Miami’s Children’s Museum. Her professional accomplishments include the management of the fundraising, grants and scholarship programs for Burger King Corporation’s philanthropic arm, Burger King McLamore Foundation Inc. She also managed community relations initiatives for the corporation, including partnerships with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Muscular Dystrophy Association and Amigos for Kids.
And: Alvarez serves as the co-chair of the Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade’s Young Professionals Group and has volunteered at Posse Miami for several years, most recently as a writing and career coach.
Education: She has a bachelor’s in international relations from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s in mass communications from Florida International University.
