Ian MacDonald has been named vice president of sales in North America at Boats Group in Miami. He was vice president of sales at Autotrader.com.
Claire Bergquist has joined Power Financial Credit Union as executive vice president, chief talent and knowledge officer, responsible for a full range of human resources duties. She was HR/People Manager for the Florida region and Shared Service Strategic Staffing at Banco Popular in Miami Lakes.
▪ David Breitwieser was named managing director and senior portfolio manager. He was senior vice president and senior director of portfolio management at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Breitwieser, a CFA, has a bachelor’s in finance from the University of South Florida.
▪ Marta Goldberg has been named managing director and fiduciary wealth adviser. She was also senior vice president and senior director of portfolio management at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Goldberg has a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Florida and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

▪ Rachel Furst leads the appellate practice. She has a bachelor’s from Princeton and a J.D. from the University of Florida.
▪ Eric T. Halsey, a trial lawyer, focuses primarily on medical malpractice disputes. He has a bachelor’s in communication from New York University and a law degree from the University of Miami.
Dr. Thierry Jacquemin has been named medical director for American Stem Cell Centers of Excellence’s clinic at 7800 Red Road. The company describes itself as a provider of regenerative medicine solutions devoted to helping patients heal through proven stem cell treatments. Jacquemin, who previously had his own internal medicine practice in Coral Gables, has a D.O. in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University and is board-certified.
Steve Heft has been named senior vice president of operations at ABB OPTICAL GROUP in Coral Springs. He was previously at Metrie, in the Vancouver, Canada area, as senior vice president of supply chain and operations. Heft has a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Auburn University.
At OBM International, a planning, architecture design firm in Miami, Beatriz DePaulis and James McDonald have been promoted to project managers.
Nikkie Abascal has been named director of leasing at Florida East Coast Realty (FECR). She is responsible for lease negotiation and administration of FECR’s office and retail properties in downtown Miami. She joined the firm in 2011.
Michelle Guerra has been named vice president/managing broker of the West Town Center office of EWM Realty International, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate. She was previously an instructor for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors Association, with a focus on technology.
Charles Callari was promoted from vice president of customer development to chief operations officer at Fenero, a Miami-based provider of cloud-based contact center solutions for sales and customer service operations. He has a bachelor’s in MIS and computer science from Manhattan College.
