Swire Properties, developers of the $1.05-billion Brickell City Centre mixed use development, has named a senior executive with Houston-based Hines Interests as its new senior vice president.
Gonzalo Cortabarria was named to the position formerly held by Megan Kelly, who retired last year. Prior to joining Swire, Cortabarria was responsible for development and asset management for Hines in South Florida as managing director.
A native of Montevideo, Uruguay, Cortabarria has an undergraduate degree in architecture, and MBA and masters in real estate from MIT.
