Silver Airways added service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Jacksonville International Airport this week.
The new service started Tuesday. The regional airline, which is based in Fort Lauderdale, will fly the route as often as three times a day and plans to increase the frequency of flights in November.
Silver also recently announced that it was offering refundable fares for travel between Florida cities. The carrier serves 10 destinations and 16 routes in Florida. It operates a total of about 170 daily scheduled flights to and from 38 destinations.
