Bal Harbour residents and businesses are being ordered to boil water until further notice, following a water main break at Park and Bal Cross drives.
“All water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be boiled until further notice,” according to a town news release Saturday night. “Water should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute. There is no problem with using the water for bathing and other household needs.”
Water samples will be analyzed and after tests are clear the boil water order will be lifted.
Emergency repairs to the water main are underway.
