Things To Do

Celebrate with Will and Kate

Though Americans are lucky to not have to foot the bill for royal weddings (like we could even afford one), that doesn’t stop our enthusiasm. There is no shortage of venues in Miami that are hosting English teas, royal look-a-like contests and offering services fit for a king – or at least a petty duke.

JohnMartin’s

Get dolled up in your British finery as JohnMartin’s hosts a Royal Wedding watch party with a royal themed costume contest to boot. The morning festivities start bright and early at 5:45 a.m., just prior to the scheduled live telecast of the wedding ceremony at 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary Kir Royale cocktail, along with a chance to meet the Queen Mum herself (or, perhaps, a very good look-alike). Guests enjoy a traditional English breakfast, smoked salmon crowns and breakfast scones with butter and clotted cream, as well as many other items.  In addition, guests will be able to take their pictures with the life-sized cutout of the Royal Couple.
