“WE ALL SHINE ON”

THE ARTWORK OF JOHN LENNON

We all know about John Lennon’s musical masterpieces, including “Imagine,” “Instant Karma,” “Jealous Guy” and his work with The Beatles. But not everyone knows about Lennon’s other artistic side – whimsical sketch artist. Check out 100 or so of his works at this exhibit.

Opening night features the comedy “A Matter of Size,” which tells the tale of an overweight Israeli chef who works in a Japanese restaurant and seeks happiness as a Sumo wrestler. Other films throughout the festival  – which runs through Jan. 24 at various venues – star actors including Catherine Deneuve, Gerard Depardieu, Patrick Swayze and Carmen Electra, among others.
